About me
“When someone is struggling, I want to understand both how their mind works and what they have lived through.”
My story
I have worked as a clinical psychologist for more than ten years, in psychotherapy, psychological and neuropsychological assessment, and cognitive rehabilitation. I see clients online through Mindfulgates.
My training covers clinical psychology, neuropsychology and forensic psychology, which helps me look at the whole picture. A diagnosis can be useful, but it is only the start.

My background
I have lived and worked in many parts of the world, alongside people from many cultures and walks of life. I work in Arabic and English, and I try to meet each person as they are, with warmth and curiosity rather than judgement.
In therapy I draw on approaches such as CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT) and psychodynamic therapy, and we decide together what suits you. I also offer ACT for interpersonal problems, family therapy, grief therapy and ADHD coaching.
I also carry out forensic assessments, including veracity and risk of reoffending. I approach this work carefully and fairly, and I am always clear about what the evidence can and cannot show.
